ھی استک  نرم افزاری برای دور زدن فيلترينگ اداره مخابرات جمهوری اسلامی ايران و فراھم ساختن دسترسی به اينترنت آزاد، به زودی به کاربران ايرانی ارائه می شود   آستين ھيپ   و دانيل کوالسيون   اعلام کردند که به زودی نرم افزاری برای فراھم ساختن دسترسی به اينترنت فيلتر نشده برای مردم ايران ارائه خواھد شد. آنھا بزودی بسته نرم افزاری ھی استک را برای سيستم عامل ھای ويندوز ، مک و يونيکس ارائه خواھند کرد که به ويژه روش ھای فيلترينگ دولت ايران را ھدف قرار می دھد

ھی استک مشابه با فری گيت  نرم افزاری که «ديوار آتشين بزرگ» ، يا روش ھای فيلترينگ دولت چين را ھدف می گيرد، پس از نصب در عين حالی که از ھويت کاربر محافظت می کند، دسترسی به اينترنت کاملاً سانسور نشده را در ايران فراھم می سازد  پراکسی ھيپ  که در واقع پيش زمينه ھی استک بود در ۲۲ ژوئن (اول تير)، تنھا ده روز پس از انتخابات راه اندازی شد. اما به آن پروژه در واقع به عنوان يک راه حل موقتی نگريسته می شد، چون متکی بر راه اندازی پراکسی توسط کاربران مختلف بود که متأسفانه با وجود ھزاران شرکت کننده از خود گذشته، موقت و غير قابل اطمينان بودند. علاوه بر اين کاربران منفرد در ايران بايد تقاضای دريافت پراکسی می کردند. ھی استک يک راه حل کارآتر، اثربخش تر، و دراز مدت تر است

آستين هيپ ھم اکنون در حال آزمايش حساسيت روی شبکه سرورھا و سنجش کارکرد آنھاست. نرم افزار مورد نظر ابتدا از طريق سايت   و سپس به زودی از طريق روش ھای ديگر توزيع قابل دسترسی خواھد بود تا از بيشترين دسترسی ممکن در داخل ايران اطمينان حاصل شود. دانيل کوالسيون در اين باره می گويد: من ھمواره پايبند به اصول بوده ام.  و کمک کردن به انسان ھايی درست مانند خودم برای دستيابی به آزادی ھايی که برای ما طبيعی به نظر می رسد، بزرگترين آرمانی است که می توانم در راھش تلاش کنم

در اعلاميه خبری که به اين مناسبت منتشر شد آمده است که «دولت خامنه ای احمدی نژاد تا کنون در ساکت کردن مخالفان برجسته اش به غايت اثربخش بوده است. اما خيزش مردمی در ايران حاصل رھبری بالا به پايين نبوده است، بلکه حاصل استفاده ھمگان از تمام ابزار ممکن برای سازماندھی و ارتباط بوده است. ما می خواھيم به ھر روشی که می توانيم به پشتيبانی خود از کسانی که اين تلاش را آغاز کردند و آن را جلو می برند، يعنی مردم، ادامه دھيم

Visa Lottery (FREE)

The Congressionally mandated Diversity Immigrant Visa Program makes available 50,000 diversity t visas (DV) annually, drawn from random selection among all entries to persons who meet strict eligibility requirements from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States.

Diversity Visa lottery applicants selected are notified by mail between May and July of the next year, following DV Online entry.  Lottery entrants selected are provided further instructions, including information on fees connected with immigration to the U.S. Those selected in the random drawing are NOT notified by email. Self-Portrait Machine

Jen Hui Liao’s Self-Portrait Machine is a device that takes a picture of the sitter and draws it but with the model’s help. The wrists of the individual are tied to the machine and it is his or her hands that are guided to draw the lines that will eventually form the portrait.

The project started with the observation that nearly everything that surrounds us has been created by machines. Our personal identities are represented by the products of the man-machine relationship. The Self-Portrait Machine encapsulates this man-machine relationship. By co-operating with the machine, a self-portrait is generated. It is self-drawn but from an external viewpoint through controlled movement and limited possibility. Our choice of how we are represented is limited to what the machine will allow.

The project aims to explore the cooperation process of human & machine. The designer explains: I found some the relationship between human and machine are amazing and could be horrible (like this one that shows how we human invent machines then put human inside to it to manufacture goods), The final object – A machine is a miniature of what I understand through the process of research, and the aim of the machine is to let people have a chance to feel the condensed process of how we generate our self identity from external point of view as from the society, which is a big machine we all in.

ربات استاد کار چهره شما را طراحی می کند

نام اين ربات است که قادر به طراحی چهره تمام رخ انسان است. اين ربات ابتدا به کمک دوربینی از چهره شما عکس برداری می کند. سپس از شما می خواهد که مچ دست و انگشت اشاره خود را در بندهای مخصوص طراحی گذاشته و قلم و يا ماژیکی را به دست بگیرید.  طولی نمی کشد که اين ماشین طراح همانند یک استاد کار دست شما را میگیرد و با طی کردن مسير هایی بر روی کاغذ تصویر چهره شما را طراحی خواهد کرد. اگر سر سوزن ذوقی داشته باشيد می توانيد به کمک این ربات نقاشی کردن را ادامه داده و تا مرحله پیشرفته طراحی چهره جلو بروید.  در حال حاضر نمونه آزمايشی این ربات در دانشکده هنر دانشگاه رويال لندن قرار دارد و شما می توانید برای دیدن نحوه کار و هنرمندی های آن همه روزه به این دانشگاه مراجعه کنید.

به نسل بعدی اين ربات فکر کنيد. به نظر من فرزندان آينده این ربات حتما قادر خواهند بود که دست انسان را گرفته و با رد یابی امواج مغزی وی، تصاویر تجسم شده در ذهن او را به تصویر بکشد
